While this new client uses the same User Interface as our prior releases, it has a totally new engine under the hood and ships as a Universal binary. This new engine will provide users with greater stability and make the release of new Retrospect Client features much easier when the Retrospect X beta becomes available later this year. The first beta version resulted in great direct feedback from beta testers, allowing EMC Insignia Engineers to fix a number of bugs. This type of valuable help from Beta testers will make for an outstanding final release.
